Introduction to R using Rstudio
°¿±¹±ð°ù±¹¾±±ð·É:ÌýThis workshop will give an overview of the foundations of programming in R.
At the end of the workshop, you will:
- Become familiar with the integrated development environment RStudio
- Understand the different types of variables in R (data types and data structures)
- Be able to write simple scripts
- Understand how to load and use libraries
- Be able to use control flow to automate your scripts
- Know how to get help

· Knowledge of filesystems would be helpful (e.g. from Understanding filesystemsÌý·É´Ç°ù°ì²õ³ó´Ç±è).
· Install R and RStudio on your computer. You can find installation instructions here. Please contact us (cdsi.science [at] mcgill.ca) if you are having trouble with installation.
· You need to bring your own laptop for this workshop. Contact us if you would like to attend but it's impossible for you to bring a laptop to this workshop.
Location: HYBRID. Online via Zoom, or in-person at  room 1104 (11th floor).
