Marianna Newkirk Appointed CIHR Delegate
Dr. Marianna M. Newkirk, Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Medicine, has been appointed Â鶹AV’s delegate to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), as of January 2012.
Please join us in thanking Dr. David Ragsdale for serving as CIHR delegate for the past three years.
In her new role, Dr. Newkirk will keep the research community informed as CIHR contemplates potentially major changes to some of its signature programs. She is also committed to consulting with Â鶹AV researchers on critical topics related to health research funding.
