Uncertain Causation in Medical Liability, by Lara Khoury

We are pleased to report the double publication of Professor Khoury's book, Uncertain Causation in Medical Liability, by 脡ditions Yvon Blais (Cowansville) and Hart Publishing (Oxford).
Her work, which earned her the 2004 Prix Minerve, examines from a comparative perspective how courts of England, Canada (common law), Australia, France and Quebec confront evidentiary causal difficulties caused by scientific uncertainty in medical malpractice cases.
Professor Khoury conducts research in the field of comparative extra-contractual obligations with a particular focus on medical and environmental liability.
