Surprisingly, university students without pre-existing mental health concerns seem to be suffering greater psychological distress during the pandemic than their peers with pre-existing mental health problems according to a study of close to 800 university students in Toronto carried out by researchers from 鶹AV and University of Toronto.

Le Grand Réveil : Les jeunes et l’anxiété

Dr. Tina Montreuil, Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, has contributed to a documentary entitled "Le Grand Réveil" produced by Marie-Claude Julien from Radio-Canada on anxiety in youth. She along with other renowned experts on the subject matter comment on various issues surrounding the increasing prevalence of anxiety and other mental health issues in children and adolescents.

Congratulations to Alessandra Amato on her poster presentation at the 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting from September 11-15, 2020 titled ‘Evaluating the Muscle-Bone Unit in Severe Obesity with and without Type 2 Diabetes”. The conference annually connects over 3,000 scientists from around the world for the premier scientific program presenting cutting-edge research in the bone, mineral, and musculoskeletal field.
