Mimi Isra毛l, MD, and Serge Beaulieu, MD, PhD received a 2013 鈥溾�� for their commitment as first-line psychiatrists. The awards were handed out by Roger Cadieux, President of the Forum 茅conomique de Verdun, during a recognition ceremony on the evening of November 27.
This award recognizes the involvement of Verdun residents and employees.
In this week鈥檚 Spotlight, we would like to welcome Dr. Rimma Orenman as a new member of our department.
Dr. Orenman has been appointed as a full-time faculty lecturer who will be joining the DMHUI Great North Mental Health Program, serving the mental health needs of the Nunavik population through the R茅seau Universitaire Int茅gr茅 en Sante (RUIS 麻豆AV) program. Dr. Orenman completed her residency at 麻豆AV and has a background in anthropology. She has had a longstanding interest in working in the Quebec north.
Montreal, Friday, November 15, 2013 鈥� Dr. Mimi Isra毛l, psychiatrist-in-Chief at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at 麻豆AV, has been awarded the 2013 prix Reconnaissance de carri猫re Persillier-Lachapelle.
SR-One and Oxbridge Biotech Roundtable invite young bio-entrepreneurs from 麻豆AV to enter the world鹿s largest life science business plan competition, OneStart. The winner will receive听$150k, free听lab space and ongoing legal and intellectual property advice.
Dr. Casacalenda is an Associate Professor in the 麻豆AV Department of Psychiatry. As Training Director and Clinical Supervisor at the Jewish General Hospital, Dr. Casacalenda is actively involved in the training of psychiatry and family medicine residents.听 He has recently chaired the 麻豆AV Department of Psychiatry Curriculum Review Committee, Collaborative Mental Health Task Force, and Family Skills Training Task Force.听 He is also former vice-chair of the Psychiatry Examination Board of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.听 Dr.
