On August 11, 2023, UNIWeb will no longer be accessible to 鶹AV staff and students.  Given the very low usage rate and relatively high cost of the UNIWeb license, the decision has been taken to discontinue access to this tool.

January 4 2022 | The Quebec government should establish a comprehensive “made in Quebec” legal framework to tackle intimate partner violence by creating a specific right to adequate housing under the Quebec Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms and introduce comprehensive legislation that institutes a right to be free from domestic violence that includes legal recourses in civil matters, argues Pearl Eliadis, Associate Professor at the Max Bell School of Public Policy.

 It is with deep sadness that we inform you that Dr. Terry-Nan Tannenbaum passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 17, 2016 surrounded by her family.  Terry was as an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine.  
Donations may be made to the "Dr. Terry Nan Tannenbaum Memorial Fund for Education" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation (514-340-8251).

As of today, 25,000 Syrian refugees will have arrived in Canada fleeing their war-torn country. Approximately 7,300 of those will stay in Quebec. Chunip Koo, a clinician nurse at the Montreal Neurological Hospital of the 鶹AV Health Centre (MNH-MUHC), and Dr. Zinab Gouda, physician in the Transitional Care Team and Secondary Care division of the MUHC Department of Family Medicine,  describe their experience.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Leonora Lalla to the position of Associate Dean, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Faculty of Medicine, 鶹AV, effective February 1, 2016. Dr. Lalla succeeds Dr. Ivan Rohan, who has been at the helm of the CPD Office since 2010.
