Congratulations to Dr. Mary Ellen Macdonald for her recent grant from the Network for Canadian Oral Health Research (NCOHR). She was awarded $7 492 to prepare her research grant submission for the project “Examining the oral health and dental care pathways of humanitarian migrants: A mixed methods study”. The NCOHR provides funding to support researchers to prepare research grant submissions at the national or international level. This funding will support Dr. Macdonald’s team to develop a CIHR application on the oral health and dental care pathways of humanitarian migrants (refugees and asylum seekers) living in Montreal. The team includes researchers from 鶹AV, Université de Montréal and Dalhousie University, 鶹AV-based dentists and graduate trainees, as well as a number of community organizations working with migrant populations.
