Dr. Marc McKee was appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of Soft Bones Canada (SBC). Soft Bones is a community of people and families living with hypophosphatasia (HPP). SBC is dedicated to educating, informing, encouraging and supporting Canadian individuals and their families affected by the rare bone and tooth disease and furthering research and treatment of the disease. The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is comprised of multi-disciplinary experts, leaders in their fields, having made significant contributions in research, clinical practice and advocacy. SAB members have diverse experience that cumulatively combines scientific know-how with hands-on patient work and a commitment to patient and family-centered care. Members of the SAB volunteer their time to assist SBC in achieving their mandate. Dr. McKee was also recently named to the National Advisory Board for Hypophosphatasia (Alexion Pharmaceuticals Canada).
