Desautels’ Juan Serpa included on Poets & Quants’s top 40 Undergrad profs list
Poets & Quants has released its inaugural 2017 Top Undergraduate Business Professors list, and on it is Desautels’ own Juan Camilo Serpa, Assistant Professor of Operations Management.
Prof. Serpa’s students hail his enthusiastic approach and his unique teaching methods, which last year included using business statistics to predict a film’s chances at box-office success. He also holds “coffice” hours in cafés on the weekend.
Last year, his students gave back in a big way: he was awarded Desautels’ undergraduate-level Distinguished Teaching award for his fun, innovative teaching and his engagement with the students.
