Congratulations to Anna Kim,Ā Associate Professor in Strategy & Organization, whose paperĀ "No time like the present: How a present time perspective can foster sustainable developmentā€ is the winner of theĀ 2022 ā€œResponsible Research in Managementā€ Award, sponsored by the Academy of Management (AOM) Fellows and co-sponsored by Responsible Research in Business and Management.Ā

Professor Anna Kimā€™s paper with co-authors Pratima Bansal, and Helen Haugh, published in the Academy of Management Journal, 62(2), 2019: pp. 607-634, has been named a Winner of the 2022 Award for Responsible Research in Management. This award is co-sponsored by Fellows of the Academy of Management (AOM) and the Community for Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM).

Since 2018, this annual award has honoured high-quality published scientific research that addresses critical issues in business and society. One hundred and twenty scholarly works were nominated for the 2022 award. These works underwent a rigorous two-stage review process. First, a committee of AOM Fellows identified finalists. Next, the finalists were evaluated by a group of executive reviewers. Winners were chosen based on the joint recommendations of the academic Fellows and the practitioner executives. Amidst the drumbeat of calls for research that is relevant to practice, RRM is the one award that goes only to those studies that practicing executives deem meaningful and actionable.
