Kasia VAN SCHAIK
Kasia Van Schaik is a doctoral candidate in the English Department at Â鶹AV, where she is completing a dissertation on the relationship between transient domestic spaces, such as bunkers, trains, and hotel rooms, and narrative forms in women’s writing in the postwar period. The 2021 CBC QWF writer-in-residence, Kasia’s writing and scholarship have appeared in Electric Literature, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Best Canadian Poetry, Jacket2, Canadian Studies in English, and Senses of Cinema. Her first book, We Have Never Lived On Earth, is forthcoming with the University of Alberta Press in 2022.
