Dr. Sheppard is a Professor and Chairman of the Department Microbiology & Immunology at Â鶹AV, in Montreal. He leads the Medical Mycology laboratory and practices clinical infectious diseases at the Â鶹AV Health Centre where he served as the Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases from 2012-2018. He is an elected fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, the American Society of Clinical Investigation and the American Academy of Microbiology.
