In early 2020, Logistics and Building Envelope, Building Operations moved to the 5th floor of 1010 Sherbrooke. They were followed over the course of the pandemic by the Office of Emergency Management, Parking Services, Risk Advisory and Insurance Services, and FMAS HR. Colleagues from Utilities and Energy Management can be found on the 11th floor.

Printing and Mail Services operate out of 3465 Durocher. The Facilities Call Centre is located on the 10th floor of 1010 Sherbrooke and Events Support is at 3610 McTavish.

3. The Environmental Health and Safety team has been located in the same office space since 2009. We can find them at:

4. As part of FMAS, we have a team of mechanics who are responsible for the maintenance of Â鶹AV’s fleet of vehicles. Do you know where the garage is located?

Answer
The garage is at the Ferrier Building. Our team from Grounds Services is also based at Ferrier as well as the HVAC control room and one of Operations’ trade workshops.

5. Security Services is located centrally on both the downtown and Macdonald campuses. From where do they dispatch their patrol agents?

Security Services are based out of Burnside Hall downtown and Laird Hall at Macdonald. Our other team located at the Macdonald Campus is Macdonald Operations, who can be found at the Facilities Management building at 21300 Lakeshore Road, where you can also find our Mac-based Project Management team.

Bonus question: At FMAS we work closely with Financial Services and with Procurement. Where can you find our colleagues from these teams?

Since July 2023 all Procurement staff have been based at 1010 Sherbrooke, on both the 7th and the 11th floor. The colleagues who used to be at 3465 Durocher recently moved to the 11th floor and share the office spaces of the Financial Services team that works with FMAS.

Many FMAS teams are based at 1010 Sherbrooke West. In addition to those already mentioned in the questions, you can find: Design Services and Project Management on the 10th floor, Buildings and Grounds on the 6th floor, the Office of the Associate Vice-Principal and some Operations staff on the 11th floor, and Campus Planning and Development on the 12th floor.
Campus-wide coverage
Besides these offices, many of our team members are spread out across both the downtown and the Macdonald campuses. Think of the different trades who have their sector workshops at Peterson House, Duggan House Annex, Ferrier, and Burnside Hall, porters who are in all major buildings, and custodial staff who service all our buildings. We can safely say that FMAS has eyes all over our campuses, enabling us to react swiftly to incidents and to provide campus-wide support to the Â鶹AV community .
