"Join us as we embark on the journey of a Canadian refugee. Our conference will start from the countries of origin where we will learn about the major refugee-producing conflicts and the camps which play a vital role in protecting and transporting refugees. After arriving in Canada, we will learn about the different legal statuses of refugees and delve into the contentious refugee healthcare cuts. A diverse panel will debate the legality and morality of the cuts. Finally, we will conclude with the impact of these budget cuts on refugees and healthcare providers.

The conference is sure to be an engaging and eye-opening event for all those who are interested in global and public health. Our speakers are distinguished doctors who work extensively in the migrant and refugee communities.

There will be plenty of opportunities to engage with speakers and fellow participants during the workshops, provided coffee breaks and free networking lunch. We look forward to your attendance!"

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased . Order soon as they are limited! Don’t forget to RSVP on our as well!

Â鶹AV is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Â鶹AV honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
