*ÌýThe Arbour Foundation offers scholarships for both Master's profiles: thesis and non-thesis. To help universities in the pre-selection process, we recommend comparing the thesis Master'sÌýcandidates and the non-thesis ones in separate groups

**ÌýFinancial need is a key criterion for the Arbour Foundation. The Foundation recognizes that each case is unique and is committed to evaluating each scholarship application taking into account each student's particular situation. However, it is important to note that any student receiving an external source of funding (other scholarships or family assistance for example) inÌýexcess of $30,000 for the year of study for which he/she is applying for an Arbour scholarship will not be awarded a scholarship.

Universities are assigned a quota for the number of application files to forward to the Foundation.ÌýThis quota is determined and voted on by the Foundation's Board of Directors each year.

The Arbour Foundation scholarship program accepts international candidates at the master's andÌýdoctoral levels (but not at the MBA level); however, a quota is also imposed on each universityÌýas to the number of applications from international students that can be forwarded to theÌýFoundation.

There is no quota for renewals. All renewal applications should be forwarded to the
Foundation
