New HBHL Research Theme 1 Associate Leader: Boris Bernhardt

We're happy to announce Boris Bernhardt as the new Associate Leader of Healthy Brains, Healthy Lives (HBHL) Research Theme 1: Neuroinformatics and Computational Modeling.

HBHL's Research Theme 1 Associate Leader plays an essential role in HBHL’s governance and decision-making structure. They also provide input to HBHL's strategic direction, including the development of funding initiatives and activities aimed at reaching HBHL’s goals.

We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the excellent contribution offered by Blake Richards, who has recently become HBHL Research Theme 1 Leader.Ìý

Biography

Boris Bernhardt is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery and a Canada Research Chair in Cognitive Neuroinformatics at the Montreal Neurological Institute.

At Â鶹AV, he leads the , which studies the role of structural and functional brain network organization in higher-order human cognition in both healthy and diseased populations, notably people with epilepsy and autism.

Bernhardt is also the work package leader for the .
