Dr.ÌýBialuschewski teaches Atlantic History at Trent University. He has publishedÌýextensively on cross-cultural relations involving non-state actors such as piratesÌýand slave traders in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. His latest published work, an Ethnohistory issue titledÌý"Native American Slavery in the Seventeenth Century",Ìýsheds new light on the role of Native American slavery in the development of colonial economies.
