Established in 2008 in memory of Abner Kingman, B.A. 1908, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his convocation.
Eligibility | Awarded by the Faculty of Arts Ìýto full-time students in a doctoral degree program in Art History, Canadian Studies, Economics, English, History, Philosophy, or Political Science. Allen Oliver Fellowships in Economics And Political Science
Established by Mrs. Frank Oliver, of Edmonton, Alberta, in proud and loving memory of her son, the late Allen Oliver, M.C., B.A. Lieutenant, 26th Battery, C.F.A., who was killed in action at the Somme on November 18, 1916. Lieutenant Oliver was an honours graduate in 1915 in the Department of Economics and Political Science.
Eligibility | Awarded by the Faculty of Arts on the recommendation of the Departments of Economics and Political Science to the student who stands highest in first class honours in the Departments of Economics and Political Science at the final B.A. examination. The holder is required to pursue studies in Economics and Political Science at Â鶹AV or elsewhere. |

Dr. Morris Karmazyn and Dr. Margaret P. Moffat Fellowship in Cardiovascular Research
Established in 2022 by Morris Karmazyn, MSc 1977, PhD 1979, to support an outstanding graduate student at Â鶹AV.
Eligibility | Awarded annually by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies on the basis of academic merit to one PhD student entering or enrolled in any faculty at the University, who is pursuing cardiovascular research. Preference will be given to a student conducting research in the area of heart disease related to myocardial ischemia, heart failure, or cardiac arrhythmias. |
