Saw-whet Owl Migration Monitoring Program Date #3 (in French)
Ìý
The Â鶹AV Bird Observatory (MBO), in collaboration with the Morgan Arboretum, invites you to join them for a night of discovery. Come and witness research in action with the MBO’s Northern Saw-whet Owl migration monitoring program. We will introduce you to the world of this magnificent little owl, where it lives, what it eats, and all about its migration. You will also learn about the owl banding program at the MBO, a non-profit group dedicated to research on and monitoring of migratory birds. The evening will include short activities and presentations suitable for the whole family. If the weather permits, and depending on the night and pace of migration, you may have the opportunity to watch the banding team in action as they band live owls.
