NeuroSphere participated in Â鶹AV's Kinesiology Career Fair on November 13, 2024 at Thomlinson Hall, allowing the team to connect with students and professionals interested in neuroscience and brain health.
NeuroSphere Director Adrienne Crampton, Program Officer Ujjwala Naithani and Training and Business Development Officer Karthikeyan SwaminathanÌýmanned the NeuroSphereÌýbooth and shared the initiative's mission to promote research and innovation in the fields of neuroscience, mental health and rehabilitation science by collaborating with researchers, healthcare providers, industry stakeholders and the broader scientific community.Ìý
The NeuroSphere representatives also highlighted the various funding opportunities within the organization, i.e., the Neuro Partnerships Program, theÌýNeuro Commercialization Grants and the Bridge Funding Program, tailoring the approach to students and researchers present at the Career Fair. Naithani and Swaminathan discussed potential career paths, mentorship opportunities and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration to further both the fields of brain health and kinesiology.
In fact, just like research and innovation, these disciplines go hand in hand. The NeuroSphere team is keen to buildÌýon these new connections and expand its community of innovators, advocates and researchers.Ìý
