Suicide prevention week is Feb. 1-7

Published: 28 January 2015

Approximately 11 people will end their lives by suicide today in Canada, according to the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention. Because awareness is essential to changing this behaviour and understanding why people consider suicide and attempt to take their own lives, Suicide Prevention Week is taking place February 1-7.
