Her expertise is in the field of pain in critical care, evaluation and measurement. She is the leader of the symptom management research axis at Reseau de recherche en interventions en sciences infirmieres du Quebec, and the leader of an international group for the revision of the pain guidelines of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
