鶹AV scholars receive $190,000 to expand impact of research in the social sciences and humanities
Seven 鶹AV researchers have been awarded over $190,000 in Connection Grants by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). The awards are part of $1.7 million in federal funding invested in 54 projects nationwide.
The program aims to show the potential of social sciences and humanities research to influence, benefit, and impact society, within and beyond post-secondary institutions. Grants can be used to support events and outreach activities geared toward short-term knowledge mobilization initiatives, which can often serve as a first step toward more comprehensive and longer-term projects.
