ANTH 313 Bioarchaeology (3 credits)

Overview

Anthropology : Survey of foundational methods and theory used to analyze and interpret human remains in archaeological contexts. Topics will include human osteology, skeletal growth and development, building a biological profile, osteological indicators of health and lifestyle, and ethical considerations in the field. Emphasis is on the application of social bioarchaeology theory to interpret bioarchaeological data.
