Thursday, February 10, 2022 19:00to20:15

The WELL Office is pleased to invite all 2sLGBTQIA+ learners from UGME, PGME, DENT, ISoN, SPOT and SCSD, to a virtual hour of connection and support!

Ìý

This counsellor-facilitated gathering is intended to provide space for the unique experience of navigating through healthcare training and career life as a 2sLGBTQIA+ identifying person. First, learners will have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Armand Aalamian (bio below) about his experience navigating his identity within the healthcare profession. Then, after a brief Q&A, Dr. Aalamian will leave the meeting, and Jann Tamaro (bio below) will facilitate the remainder of the event, allowing learners to share experiences and speak to the challenges and strengths that come with being part of the 2sLGBTQIA+ community in healthcare.
