Overview
Music composition is the art of creating music. Composers put together everything from melodies to lyrics to create beautiful pieces.
The Major in Composition program at Â鶹AV will provide you with a solid grounding in the basics of classical music composition for instruments and voices, with or without electronics.
You will participate in lecture courses and tutorials, along with private lessons in your final two years. The study of topics related to music theory will help to hone your compositional technique, while the study of topics related to music history helps to develops your critical thinking skills.
