Music Performance: Orchestral Instruments


Overview

The Bachelor of Music (Orchestral Instruments) program is designed to train professional musicians at the highest level. You will be encouraged to reach your full potential as a performer through private lessons with renowned faculty, a dynamic small ensembles and chamber music program, and performing opportunities provided by the School's several large ensembles, including:

  • Â鶹AV Symphony Orchestra,
  • Wind Orchestra,
  • Baroque Orchestra,
  • Contemporary Music Ensemble,
  • Opera Â鶹AV,
  • as well as a vast array of choral and jazz ensembles

Careers

The Orchestral Instruments program is aimed to help you to pursue a career in orchestral performance. However, your courses in music theory, history, and professional skills will allow you to pursue many different career paths after graduation. You can even choose to pursue performance while holding other jobs related to music.
