MAJOR PROGRAM

(67 credits)

Students enter the Major program in U1, which is the first year of a three-year degree (for students from CEGEP) or the second year of a four-year degree (for students entering Â鶹AV from high school).  The Major is more specialized than the Liberal Program, and it provides more extensive core content in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and physiology, along with more concentrated training in anatomy and cell biology.  The program includes 24 credits of Complementary Courses, which allows students to stream their courses according to particular subjects of interest among the various areas of Anatomy & Cell Biology and related biomedical sciences.

The full program description can be found in the eCalendar:

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) - Major Anatomy and Cell Biology

Be sure to review this information carefully!  It is your responsibility to ensure that you're meeting the requirements of your program.

The program plan below is recommended and will allow you to complete the Major program in three years. It may be possible to change the order in which you complete some of your requirements, in consultation with the ACB program advisor.

You can use the ACB Major Program form to keep track of your progress during your degree. Bring or email a copy of your updated form when you go for program advising.
