Design and Implementation of Statistical Simulation Studies
Overview:
This workshop will explain the ‘why, when and how’ of statistical simulation studies.Ìý Such studies are useful to aid the study of statistical procedures, and to test their performance on synthetic data.Ìý However, they are also useful in practice for trial design for performing power and sample size calculations when analytical results are not available.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to implement simulation studies in simple problems.
