Minors for Non-Management Students (Retired)

As of Fall 2023, the Minors in Finance, Marketing and Operations Management are no longer offered and are replaced by the Minor in Management.

Students interested in business studies can apply for the Minor in Management.

Returning students that are currently registered in one of our retired minors may continue to complete the minor until their graduation.

Minor in Management (18 credits)

List C (0-6 credits) 

  • 0-6 credits from any 300- or 400-level management courses for which prerequisites have been met. This includes course codes beginning with, ACCT, BUSA, FINE, INDR, INSY, MGCR, MGPO, MGSC, MRKT, ORGB, RETL.
* Prerequisite: MGCR 271 Business Statistics or another equivalent statistics course approved by the BCom Program adviser. Students should select their statistics course only after consulting Course Overlap Faculty of Arts and Science to avoid overlapping statistics courses.
** Prerequisite: MATH 122 or MATH 140 & MATH 123 or MATH 133.
+ B.A. Economics Majors or Minors in Economics may not take this course for credit.
