Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) - Minor Kinesiology(24 Credits)

Program Requirement:

The Minor Kinesiology is designed to provide students in B.Sc. programs with basic but comprehensive knowledge of scientific bases of human physical activity and its relationship with health and well-being.

Students registered in the Minor Kinesiology may not take additional courses outside the Faculties of Arts and of Science.

This minor program requires an application due to limited enrolment space. Please see for procedures and deadlines.

Eligibility
  • Students must be in Satisfactory academic standing (CGPA of at least 2.00)
  • Study Plan: Students who wish to apply for the Kinesiology Minor must download and complete a prospective study plan indicating their intended timeline for completing the required courses for the Minor.Ìý(See theÌýApplication Process & Required DocumentsÌýsection below to download the Study Plan.)

Application Process & Required Documents
  1. Download and complete the Study Plan.
  2. Complete the online . You will be asked to upload your completed Study Plan.
  3. Selection & Decision: Seats in the Minor are randomly assigned by lottery, however, the feasibility of the proposed plan of study will also be taken into consideration, as will any number of the following: credits completed to date, CGPA, expected graduation date. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application over the summer.

Applications open on June 1st with a deadline of June 30th.

Course Registration
  • Returning Minor students should always register for their Minor courses as soon as registration opens as many course sections fill up quickly.
  • When registering, students should check the 'NOTES' section in Minerva to ensure that they are selecting course sections reserved for Minors, where applicable.
