Indigenous Health Professions Program
The Indigenous Health Professions (IHP) Program brings together all schools in the Faculty of Medicine plus other schools and faculties at Â鶹AV with an overall goal of improving the health of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
It spans the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, and the Schools of Social Work and Human Nutrition. Their partners include the Algonquin Nation, the Cree Nation, the Inuit, and the Mohawk Nation.

Housed in the Faculty of Law, the CHRLP The Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism is a focal point for innovative legal and interdisciplinary research, dialogue and outreach on issues of human rights and legal pluralism.

Institute of Health and Social Policy
The Institute for Health and Social Policy is a Tri-Faculty Institute of the Faculties of Medicine, Arts and Law, and a unit of the Â鶹AV School for Population and Global Health. It occupies a central role at Â鶹AV as a multidisciplinary centre for research, training and dialogue on issues of health and social policy.Â

Institute for Human Development and Well-Being
IHDW is a transdisciplinary unit led by Â鶹AV's Faculty of Education. It draws together researchers from Â鶹AV's Departments of Family Medicine, Educational and Counselling Psychology, Integrated Studies in Education, Anthropology, Kinesiology and Physical Education, Psychiatry, the School of Urban Planning, the School of Social Work, and the Faculty of Dentistry.

International Community Action Network
The International Community Action Network (ICAN-Â鶹AV) works to advance the rights of the most marginal and disadvantaged communities of Palestine, Jordan and Israel through a successful network of nine academic and civil society partners, eleven front-line rights-based community action centres and hundreds of committed professionals and volunteers.Â

Montreal Health Equity Research Consortium
MHERC consists of multiple projects directed by 7 faculty and 4 postdoctoral fellows at Â鶹AV and the Université de Montréal. It has two main objectives:
- Identify and investigate novel ethical frameworks to guide public policy and public health interventions that address health equity.
- Produce policy-relevant academic work, as well as policy briefs aimed at population health professionals and policymakers.
