This is a horizontalized rotation that alternates clinical exposure to an adult inpatient ward supervised by family physicians with the residentsā continuity clinic. |

Depending on the site, this experience involves multiple types of clinical exposure to Care of the Elderly. This can include inpatient, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. Residents return for their unit for their weekly continuity clinics. |

Depending on the site, this experience involves multiple types of clinical exposure to Palliative Care including inpatient and outpatients settings. |

Clinical setting: Obstetrical Case Room, residents work with the Obstetrical and Family Medicine service for Intrapartum, Postpartum, and Newborn care. Residents return for the Family Medicine Unit for their continuity clinic. This rotation supplements the prenatal care residents learn at their Training Unit. |

This experience supplements our residentsā exposure to care of children and adolescents that they receive in their continuity clinics in their training units. Most residents will have opportunities to work with pediatric subspecialists and paramedical health professionals. |

This intensive rotation provides important exposure to acute pediatric illness. Residents do both daytime and overnight shifts. |
