Fall 2025 field studies in Montérégie, QC

GEOG 398: Field Studies in Human Geography (3 credits)

When and where? Local field component from August 16th to August 24th 2025 at the  in Mont St-Hilaire, Montérégie, Québec, with lectures on the downtown campus in the fall semester. The course counts as a fall term class. Read the draft course outline from 2024 for more information. 

How to apply: The application process will be shared during the winter 2025 term. Info sessions will be announced in February and March.

Note: Additional Department fee of $1034.38 was charged to student fee account in 2024 to cover the cost of transportation, accommodations, local fees and all meals. Expected fee increase for 2025 should be in the range of 3%, but subject to change. The fee for fall 2025 will be confirmed in the spring.

The class can serve as the required advanced field course requirement in Geography and Urban studies majors and honours programs, or as an Area 1 requirement in the Interfaculty program in Sustainability, Science and Society. For use in other programs, please see your program advisor to discuss options.
