Announcing the Â鶹AV IT Support Virtual Agent: The enhanced chat feature

We’re thrilled to introduce an enhancement to the chat feature on the IT Support site: our new Â鶹AV IT Support Virtual Agent (VA) is available today to all Â鶹AV community members.

We now have an advanced chat functionality that will help you quickly and effortlessly find what you need on the IT Support site.

Whether you're looking for instructions on how to install and use software, details about training courses, our incident management process or our policies, the Virtual Agent will help you resolve issues fast and get what you need when you need it.

If the Â鶹AV IT Support Virtual Agent is unable to address your question, rest assured that live agent support will still be available.

How to use the Virtual Agent (VA)

As of today, you can initiate a chat with the Virtual Agent on the . You need to be logged in to access VA.

But wait...there’s more! The VA is also available on MS Teams. (See below for more information.)

How to access the VA in MS Teams

Have a quick IT question or don’t have time to go to the IT Support site? You can access all the functionality of VA from within MS Teams. That’s right, you will be able to initiate an IT Support query directly on Teams via Teams chat.

Accessing the VA in Microsoft Teams is as simple as 1-2-3:

  1. In Microsoft Teams, click on the Apps button in the left sidebar.
  2. In the Apps search bar (not the global search bar), type “Â鶹AV IT Support."
  3. When the Â鶹AV IT Support App is displayed on the right pane, click Open.

Start a new chat by clicking on the Â鶹AV IT Support icon in the left pane.

TIP: Don’t forget to pin it! You can pin the Â鶹AV IT Support chat to the left sidebar, so it stays readily available:
