Renovations | McLennan second floor & integration of Education materials into main collection
Over the course of the Winter 2018 and Summer 2018 semesters the Education Collection, currently housed on the second floor the Humanties and Social Sciences Library, will be integrated into the main Humanities and Social Sciences Collection in the McLennan Library Building. This project will increase the visibility and browsability of the Education Collection and will create space for over 100 new study seats.
Extended hours for McIntyre 3rd floor start February 12

Starting Monday February 12th, 2018, the opening hours for theMcIntyre Medical Building 3rd floor study space will be extended weekly at night until 20:30 from Monday to Thursday ONLY.
The opening hours are as follows:
Schulich Library closed March 2 - March 6
The Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering will be closed to all from Friday, March 2, 2018, 18:00 to Tuesday, March 6, 2018, 9:00. After-hours access at Schulich will also be disabled.
LibQUAL library survey starts February 5
Starting February 5th, the Library will be running its LibQUAL survey to a sampling of 鶹AV students, faculty and staff. The survey provides the opportunity to give feedback on Library services, collections and spaces. In the past, the student community used the platform to voice their desire for a wide variety of Library spaces.
New Redpath Book Display: Celebrating Black History Month
February 2018
We're celebrating Black History Month with a special new book display. The selections honour the contributions of Black Canadians, their history and their experiences. You will find literature, including poetry, and social and historical studies written by Canadian authors.
Taylor & Francis Online won’t work in IE versions 10 or earlier after upgrade on January 31
Tomorrow, January 31, providers using Atypon’s Literatum websites (including Taylor and Francis) will be implementing an enhanced level of web security (TLS or Transport Layer Security). This will mean no change for patrons using Chrome, Firefox and IE11 browsers. However, anyone using Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10 will receive an error message. Taylor and Francis is advising patrons using earlier versions of Internet Explorer to upgrade to IE11 which fully supports TLS.

Update, January 2018: In the summer of 2017, Books24x7 was migrated to a new platform Skillsoft. As of November 2017, Books24x7 is no longer available. All content that was provided by Books24x7 is now accessible in Skillsoft.
ProQuest downtime, January 27, 10pm through January 28, 6am
On Saturday,January 27, 2018, ProQuest will launch an 8-hour product maintenance window worldwide to upgrade infrastructure and enhance security.
Between 10pm, Saturday, January 27 and 6am, Sunday, January 28, most of our ProQuest resources will be unavailable.
