There are various opportunities for learning/teaching in retirement offered by Â鶹AV and other institutions in Montreal.
The Â鶹AV Community for Lifelong Learning (MCLL), formerly known as the Â鶹AV Institute for Learning in Retirement (MILR), provides a large number of study sessions on a variety of subjects. Â鶹AV retirees are always welcome to join MCLL as participants or moderators. MCLL is based on the idea of peer learning, and teaching and study group moderators are volunteer members of MCLL. The role of the moderator is to organize the study topic in a way that encourages the active involvement of all participants. Â鶹AV retirees who might be interested in being involved with MCLL but may not yet feel ready to act as a moderator are encouraged to register for one or two study sessions that they would find of interest.
