Site Selection and Allocation
Clerks and residents rank rural sites in January before the beginning of the academic year*. Trainees rank the sites based on their interests, the site’s characteristics and peer recommendations. The descriptions of the sites are also very useful in the ranking process. Site descriptions are also available at the following department's websites:
The final allocation of sites is completed by the administrator of each program according to the site teaching capacity.
*The academic year begins on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the following year. However, students are on holiday the first 4 weeks of July and generally do not pursue rotations during this period.
Rotation schedule distribution to sites
The rotation schedule for the school year is distributed by the Â鶹AV coordinator by mid-May.
There may be changes to the schedule throughout the school year. Any changes are communicated to the sites without delay.
