The Student Advocating for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (SAFE) committee is a student-led group, within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, interested in promoting equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) among the graduate student and postdoctoral fellow communities. We provide peer-led support and education through our socials, workshops, and townhalls.
We strongly encourage graduate students and post-doctoral fellows from under-represented groups within academia (Black, Indigenous, first generation, LGBTQ2IA+, People living with a disability , People Of Color, and other marginalized groups) to attend our events.
