Introducing Simulation Into Your Curriculum: From Principles to Practice
Target audience: Educators whoÌýfrequently develop and/or deliverÌýsimulation-based educational activities.
- ÌýDescribe how people learn and understand the added value of simulation;
- ÌýOutline the principles of effective debriefing for simulation-based education;
- ÌýApply different methods of debriefing and describe the advantages / disadvantages of each approach;
- ÌýDiscuss a variety of opportunities and approaches for teaching and learning with simulation andÌýoutline best practices in each context.
This is an Accredited Simulation Activity (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. You may claim a maximum of 7.5 hours for this activity.
