A series of conferences on neurocognitive disorders presented by AVC-Aphasie Laval and Â鶹AV
AVC-Aphasie LavalÌýis proud to announce a partnership with theÌýDementia Education ProgramÌýof the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Â鶹AV. This collaboration aims to offer a series of free conferences on neurocognitive disorders.
These 45-minute lectures will be followed by a 15-minute question period. They are intended for both members of AVC-Aphasie Laval and the community. Offered in hybrid mode, it will be possible to attend via Zoom or to reserve a place on the organization's premises.
Please note that the conferences will be presented in English in the morning and in French in the afternoon.

Dr. Paolo Vitali will speak about language difficulties we may encounter as we age, and explain how this differs for individuals with neurocognitive disorders. He will also discuss the potential impact of current research on treatment options.
Dr. Vitali is Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Â鶹AV. He is a board-certified neurologist and neuropsychologist at the Â鶹AV Research Centre for Studies in Aging and at the CIUSSS Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.ÌýDr. Vitali’s research focuses on atypical patients with neurocognitive disorders who present with language disorders (Primary Progressive Aphasia).ÌýÌý
