Creating a population-based curriculum development model for simulation: Lessons learned from Montreal’s COVID-19 experience

This session is designed for simulation centres and program directors. Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to identify the population-based health needs and challenges that emerge in a crisis situation; apply situational analysis assessment methods to simulation-based education during crisis preparedness, response and recovery; discuss the role of simulation-based educational methodology for improving care of underserved patients; know how to collaborate with communities in identifying priority needs and communicate contextual knowledge to a health professional audience
