Who We Are

Administrative Structure

The minimally invasive surgery program is a multidisciplinary program charged with coordinating the clinical activities, resources, research and education across surgical specialties at the Â鶹AV Health Centre, and advising other Â鶹AV teaching hospitals when asked.

The Steinberg-Bernstein Centre for Minimally Invasive Surgery was established at the Montreal General Hospital by a generous endowment from Florenz Steinberg Bernstein in 1995. Resources from this endowment have been used to establish an endowed chair in MIS and Innovation at the Â鶹AV Health Centre. It has also supported faculty development and the establishment of a physical identity for the MIS program at Â鶹AV.
