What is FSCI 500?
A course听for graduate and undergraduate students (U0 and U1 require permission to register). For students who are interested in learning about the theory and practice of science outreach and science communication.听Inclusive practices will be a focus of the lectures and assignments.听Assignments include assessing audiences, creating a science explainer, and planning and听promoting an outreach or communication activity.听
FSCI听500听is designed by Dr. Diane听Dechief听(Office of Science Education) and Dr. Allison Gonsalves (Department of Integrated Studies in Education) with the support of Jacky听Farrell of the Office of Science Outreach.听
