Graduate Research Enhancement and Travel (GREAT) Awards
Up to four (4) GREAT awards valued at a maximum of $1000 will be given each year in Pathology. There will be one call for applications in the Fall and another in the Winter.
Eligibility (as per Â鶹AV) | Information from GPS Funding Website
Thesis Master's or Doctoral students are eligible for a GREAT award if they are:
- In good standing,
- Registered full time in a research degree program,
- Have completed a Travel Registry if activity is outside of Canada (check which activities require this), and
- NOT in time limitation.
Awards must be used to support research travel and dissemination of research, including, but not limited to:
- Conference presentations (and equivalent dissemination activities in research-creation disciplines, such as Music);
- Field research; archival research; collaborative research outside the university not eligible forÌýGraduate Mobility AwardsÌýor to complement a Graduate Mobility Award.

Deadlines to Apply
Fall 2024: for research travel between July 2024 and December 2024 (applications due by 01 November 2024)
Winter 2025: for research travel between January 2025 and June 2025 (applications due by 01 February 2025)
