Hank MacIntosh Prize in Pharmacology

Established in 1991 for graduate studies in Pharmacology by the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics in honor of Professor F.C. MacIntosh, a distinguished Â鶹AV scientist. It is awarded annually to a student who has presented within the last academic year a senior seminar and who has progressed toward submission of the thesis. The candidate must also have demonstrated scientific excellence and a breadth of knowledge in the discipline, together with leadership qualities, academic and social responsibility.

Sourkes Prize in Pharmacology

Established in 1992, by the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics in honor of Professors Theodore Sourkes. Awarded annually to recognize outstanding contribution by a graduate student in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, as judged from a paper published in a peer-reviewed journal. Awarded by the department to a student currently enrolled in the program or who has graduated during the preceding year.ÌýThe supervisor must be a member of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics. The student should have been an active member of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics community, with input from the Graduate Association of Pharmacology and Therapeutics Students (GAPTS) in an advisory role. Awarded by the Department to a student currently in the program or having graduated within a year.

Life Sciences Prize (Non-Pharmacology prize)

Established in 2016, to recognize students from other programs, but who belong in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, for best poster presentation.
