Interested psychiatry residents are encouraged to contact the program director during their PGY-3 year in psychiatry, as the optimal timing for application to this program is early in the PGY-4 year. Please see the PGME Â鶹AV website for detailed requirements and application deadlines.
The required documents include:

**Applicants who are currently residents in one of the four general psychiatry programs in the Province of Quebec will be contacted, following their interview to our GeriatricÌýsubspecialty program, by theÌýBureau du Coopération Interuniversitaire (BCI), for a ranked list of their preferred program(s). The Â鶹AV Geriatric PsychiatryÌýprogram will also submit a preferred candidate rank order list to Â鶹AV PGME, who will forward this list to theÌýBCI.ÌýThe applicant’s admission to one of the four Geriatric PsychiatryÌýprograms in Quebec will thus be a match, organized by theÌýBCI.
