Academic advising for undergraduate students
You can still connect with an academic advisor without needing to drop by their office—many advisors are offering either video conference or phone meetings. You can find an advisor within your Faculty or Student Affairs Office, but there are also advisors within some Schools and Departments. Check out the "What Advisors Do" webpage to determine what type of advisor will work best for you, then consult the Advisor Directory to find your academic advisor.

LE JAMES Bookstore
The LE JAMES Â鶹AV Bookstore is still your go-to place for textbooks andÌýcourse materials. This year, the only difference is that all textbooks and course materials will be available to purchaseÌýonline only.ÌýYou can browse theÌýonline storeÌýand place an order for delivery.
Office for Students with Disabilities
Students who are regularly entitled to accommodations are still entitled to those accommodations in a remote learning environment. Students who do not typically receive accommodations but are experiencing disability-related academic barriers to remote learning should contact the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) to see what's available to them. Visit the OSD's Student FAQ for more information about how students requiring accommodation can access support in a remote learning environment.
Tutorial Services
Tutorial Services provides student-centred academic supportÌýto the Â鶹AV communityÌýincluding a Tutor Matching Program, where you will be assigned a tutor for your class. Tutorial Services is currently offering remote-only sessions as well as other online resources.

Writing Centre
Â鶹AV's Writing Centre is currently offering online tutoring sessions through MicrosoftÌýTeams, open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Their trained tutors will work with you at any stage of the writing process, from outlining to final revision, providing guidance on how to:
- organize your ideas
- express yourself clearly
- make convincing arguments
- reach the right audience
- identify and eliminate common grammatical errors

In addition to over 3.5 million e-books and e-journals, many print materials are available through the HathiTrust Digital Library's Emergency Temporary Access Service. Graduate Supervision

Graphos
Graphos is a scholarly communication program designed specifically for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows that includes 1-credit courses, workshops, peer writing groups and a tutorial service (currently offered remotely through Microsoft Teams).
myPath
myPath is an active network of tools and programming to provide PhD students with ways to identify their goals and create an Individual Development Plan. An IDP is used to encourage the iterative process of reflection, defining goals, setting specific objectives and taking action, which supports long-term success.
myProgress
myProgress is a web-based tool that allows graduate students and their supervisors to track and monitor progress towards their degree. Students admitted to a Master's or PhD program as of Fall 2017 have access to myProgress.
PD.Education
PD Education is an online platform that provides professional development resources, interactive webinars, and tools to help masters and doctoral students progress in and complete their degree.
SKILLSETS
The SKILLSETS program offers skill development workshops for graduate students on topics like securing funding, leadership and more. All SKILLSETS workshops are currently being run as online webinars—check out their website for a calendar of events and to learn more.
