The RGO providesÌýstrategic direction and administrative support in securing research funding, which enables the faculty and university to achieve the highest standards in research.
The Research and Grants Office works with the Dean and the Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Science to:
- promote strategic funding programs and priorities
- navigating large funding campaigns (e.g., CFI-Innovation Fund, , )
- supportÌýthe submission of individual grants, awards, and prize applications for research (e.g., , ,Ìý)
- drafting letters of support from the Faculty of Science
- editing and revision services
- providing guidance for tricky sections (e.g.,ÌýInstitutional Commitments, Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI))
- ensure compliance with University research policyÌýby reviewing and providing Faculty approval for:
- the Research FundingÌýChecklistÌý(°¿³§¸é)
- Faculty Table of Commitments
- PLEASE NOTE: It is the responsibility of the PI to fully complete the RFC and obtain the signature of their Chair before submission for Faculty review.
- promote research to undergraduate studentsÌý
