Overview
Mining & Materials Engineering : Metallurgical applications of heat, mass and momentum transfer theories. Particular emphasis is placed on the applications of computational fluid dynamics and development of appropriate software programs. These are based on the integral control volume, finite difference approach, employing body-fitted co-ordinate schemes to handle arbitrarily shaped flow domains. Turbulence models such as K-E and large eddy simulation are presented.
